Chasing BRW #60 1992

In 1992 me and a great friend of mine, Mahesh, chased BRW #60 from Ringoes to Lambertville, to the Three Bridges interchange, then back to Flemington.

Here are some photos of that trip.  When we took that trip, I would never have guessed that the train would stop going into Lambertville.  That makes me sad.

BRW #60 crosses Route 29.

I’m sure the drivers were all caught off guard!

Note: Old #60 lost her number plate!  It was recovered on the way back!

A scene never to be repeated again.

The station was restored as a restaurant at the time

BRW #60 must backup to back of the train and run backwards to Three Bridges

Nice shot of the old yard behind the Lambertville Station

BRW #60 running in reverse pulls the train past the canal and on to three bridges!

That’s my long extinct go anywhere 1986 F-250.

No Conrail trains pasted in the time we were there

This my favorite shot of the trip!  BRW #60 enters Flemington 1992.  I actually have this framed and on my wall.
